Management Consultant, Science Writer, Engineer

I am a management consultant, writer, and former rocket scientist based in Seattle. I’m currently a Project Leader at The Boston Consulting Group, where I manage teams that advise senior technology, media, and telecommunications executives on management and business strategy.

Prior to becoming a management consultant, I was an engineer at SpaceX and was named one of Forbes’ 30 Under 30 in 2017 for my work in the space industry. After transitioning out of engineering, I wrote science articles for Forbes and held a Wogrammer Journalism Fellowship with AnitaB.org, which supported my efforts to increase the visibility of female scientists and engineers in the media. To date, I continue to actively support public engagement in science as a NASA Solar System Ambassador and an Associate Board Member of the Pacific Science Center.

I hold a bachelor of arts degree in mathematics from Wellesley College and a master’s degree in engineering from Cornell University.
